
Hailee Yip
Hailee practices civil litigation, informed by a wide variety of litigation experience across her law career. After graduating from Baylor Law School in 2018, she served as a staff attorney for Lone Star Legal Aid’s Military and Veterans Unit, representing Central Texas military veterans in family law cases, guardianships, expunctions, landlord-tenant disputes, and more. Hailee then transitioned to practicing general civil litigation at the trial and appellate levels, focusing on written advocacy. She has experience working in a variety of civil practice areas, including construction law, civil rights, medical malpractice, employment law, oil and gas, and contract disputes. Hailee joined Engvall & York in March 2025.
In addition to her work at Engvall & York, Hailee is an adjunct professor for written advocacy in the Practice Court program at Baylor Law School.
Outside of work, Hailee enjoys playing trumpet in community ensembles and spending time with her husband, who is an Assistant District Attorney and a Judge Advocate in the Texas Army National Guard.
