Christine N. York
Christine has 19 years of experience representing clients in a wide range of complex litigation including personal injury, premises liability, products liability, professional liability, medical malpractice, and hospital and nursing negligence. Christine’s healthcare experience includes advising clients on various aspects of risk management and claims handling regarding professional liability claims made against health care organizations, various issues relating to records confidentiality, and preventative risk management for health care organizations. Christine’s experience also includes representing public and private corporations handling disputes in state and federal courts involving allegations of breach of contract, breach of fiduciary obligations, fraud, and tortious interference.
Christine was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2000, and has been admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Following graduation from law school, Christine worked for a small litigation boutique firm for three years and subsequently joined the Litigation Practice of a large law firm in Houston, Texas, where she practiced for nine years. Christine joined Engvall & York in July 2013.
